Former international Piotr Trochowski has paid his former club Hamburger SV a training visit – but not to the second-division professional team.
The 35-year-old coached instead on Wednesday evening at the third team of HSV. "A cool action for the whole team! Come back, Troche!" Was the statement on the team's Facebook page.
Also HSV President Marcell Jansen plays in the third team of the red roses. Coach is the former professional Christian Rahn. Currently the team occupies the tenth place in the league Hamburg.
Trochowski, who finished his professional career at FC Augsburg in the summer of 2018, moved from FC Bayern München to HSV in 2005. In the summer of 2011, he moved on to Sevilla FC. The move to Augsburg followed in 2015.
Among other things, there are 199 Bundesliga games, eight Champions League and Champions League qualifiers and 35 internationals in the Vita of native Poland, last Sunday's farewell match by Rafael van the Vaart participated in Hamburg.
